Kjell Henning Bjørnestad born in Norway 1968, was a natural born entertainer from an early age. Kjell Elvis started his career in 1988 while serving in the Norwegian army. His resemblance to the King is astounding. He sings like the king. Looks like the king. Moves like the king. And has the body language equal to the king. No one else has rivaled the similarities other than Elvis Presley himself. That's why Kjell Elvis is one of the top-leading ETA's (Elvis Tribute Artists) in the World. But it hasn't been easy, looking like the King and acting like the King definitely brought Kjell Elvis attention, although not always of the kind one wishes to get.

After years of struggling, rehearsing, performing on street corners and in small clubs, finally both media and the audience started to became aware of this young, dynamic and talented "Elvis Impersonator".

He has met many of Elvis' musicians and singers and even performed with some of them including Elvis' legendary mentor Sam Philips, owner of the Sun Studio where Elvis cut his first record.

On TV:

When the largest TV station NRK made an hour long documentary about him, his career was definitely launched. It took eight hard years to reach that point. His popularity and position as a performer is very strong in Norway, and he is doing between 150 and 200 shows each year. In addition he is doing shows every now and then abroad. He has also performed in the USA, and in December of 2002 he was invited to Iceland to do a show on "Broadway", Iceland's largest scene, in connection with the 25th anniversary of Elvis' death. The show was broadcasted on TV, and was a huge success.

Elvis Festival 2002:

For the 25th anniversary for Elvis' death, Kjell Elvis promoted an Elvis Festival in Oslo, Norway where Elvis' original TCB band performed, and couples where getting married in the real Las Vegas Wedding Chapel Style. The festival was a huge success, and will be repeated.
